ReV: Gem Studded Skies

Sorry for not posting any non-pixel/icon related art for a couple months. I've been working on this in between commissions for the past two weeks or so and finally finished it! 

Originally, it was just supposed to be Kanarei that would be in the picture, standing next to an image of 'Starry Night' by Van Gogh. After all I had designed the dress for an art history project. Please do not copy/steal/trace/highly reference the design. Then I decided to add in her AllMate, Koken. Only to later change him to the blonde haired male on the right. The two men you see here are her older brothers!

I really wanted to challenge myself by drawing things I either haven't drawn before or struggle with. So, the entire background was me taking a flying leap out of my comfort zone. And yes, I did make that golden frame by myself! It's not the most original of pieces, but in comparison to my other drawings, I do believe this trumps them all. Or at least, I hope it does!
